Every artist has a unique way of seeing the world.
Learning to paint is about more than mastering technique. It's about developing the confidence to trust your instincts, explore new possibilities, and create work that reflects your own experience and perspective.As a professional artist with more than three decades of studio practice, I've learned that meaningful paintings emerge through curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to let the work evolve. Whether you're just beginning, returning to painting after time away, or searching for a deeper connection to your work, I offer one-on-one mentorship designed to help you develop your visual voice while strengthening the technical skills that support it.My role isn't to teach you to paint like me.It's to help you paint with greater confidence, authenticity, and purpose.
A Personal Approach to Mentorship

Rather than following a fixed curriculum, our sessions evolve through conversation, observation, experimentation, and thoughtful critique. We'll strengthen technical skills where needed, but always in service of your own creative vision.
Together we'll explore questions like:

- What is your work trying to communicate?
- How can technique better support your ideas?
Whether your interests are abstract, figurative, or representational, my goal is to help you create work that feels authentic, personal, and uniquely your own.
Private Artist Mentorship
One-on-one mentoring offers individualized guidance in a relaxed, professional studio environment where your creative goals shape every session.

Session Rates
2-Hour Artist Mentorship — $90
3-Hour Extended Artist Mentorship — $120
Discounts are available for ongoing mentorship and multi-session packages.

Workshops
Alongside private mentorship, I offer small-group workshops throughout the year for artists who want to explore new materials, techniques, and creative approaches in an encouraging, hands-on environment.
